FAQ's

How long will it take to receive my order?

All of our geometric art sculptures and glass pendant lights are individually hand-made to order by glass artisan, Asaf Zakay and there is currently a waiting list for his pieces.  Due to current demand and each item being made to order by the artist himself, the current wait time is 16 weeks plus shipping time.  Learn more here

You can be assured each order is managed in turn and moves up the wait list as other orders are completed.  We want to thank you for your understanding and promise you that your sculpture or light will be worth the wait and something to be treasured for a lifetime.

We will always do what we can to help.  Please contact us for assistance.

Where are you located?
We are in Australia, but we ship worldwide.

What prices are your products in?
They are in Australian dollars. But our website is set up to detect the country you are in and should automatically change the prices to your currency.  If this does not happen, you can scroll to the bottom and choose your currency.

Please note that the customer is responsible for any import taxes.

Is is safe to send the glass sculptures via post?

Yes.  We have an extremely safe packing system that we have developed over many years.  We have sent from Australia to the US, Canada, China, Japan and across Europe with no issues.  We use several layers of double-sided eco bubble wrap, packing beads and thick custom made cardboard boxes.

Can you send outside of Australia?

Absolutely.  We can send our pieces safely all over the world. We have recently sent sculptures and lights to Spain, USA, Canada, Switzerland and South Korea!

Can I visit the studio or see the pieces before I buy?

At this stage, the studio is unfortunately not open to the public - however we are still available for Skype or Zoom chats, phone calls and would love to share images and videos of our work via email.

All artworks are made to order - so we don't have them on display for immediate purchase, however, our team would love to share information and photos/videos of the pieces with you, so please get in touch.

What is your refund and return policy?

On the very slim chance that your sculpture or light arrives broken or defective in some way, we will replace it for you (by making  new piece or repairing the original piece if possible).  Please contact us.

If you change your mind about your piece, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund as all artworks are made to order.

Is there a warranty on the pendant lights?
We offer a 12 month warranty on internal lighting fixture.

Can I order directly with the gallery rather than online?

Absolutely. Feel free to call Studio Manager, Jodie, and we will be more than happy to take you through our range of geometric art ceiling lights and find the perfect piece for you. Contact details are here.

What is dichroic glass?

Dichroic glass is a glass that is made especially for us. It is multiple layers of mineral oxide, embedded in the glass which causes incredible colours. The glass can look different in different lights, making it mesmerising to watch.  It will not peel or fade over time. This video shows how dichroic glass looks in the sunlight. To find out more about the types of glass we have, please click here

Are there any other glass types available?

Yes.  We are also able to use sapphire blue, rose gold and emerald green in the clear glass range.  For dichroic glass, we can also use dichroic blue and dichroic green.  We can also do a mix of glasses. Please click here to see the full range of glass types.

How do I install my light into the ceiling?

This must be done by a licenced electrician.  Unfortunately we cannot take any responsibility for incorrect installations which may cause the components to fail and the light not to work.

We provide you with clear cable, a globe, a pendant cover and a transformer (if you are in Australia).  If you are overseas, your electrician will need to be advised to bring a transformer suitable with them.

I need to replace the globe in my light

Our pendant lights take a two-prong 12V halogen globe.   We recommend using a 20W globe or a 30W if you have one of our larger lights.   Please note, that it is important not to touch the halogen globe, it can be easily damaged by any oils on your hands.

In addition, please do not pull on the cabling to slide out the inner tube to change the light bulb, this can cause the wire to break and malfunction.

Our 20 watt halogen globes last up to 2000 hours if handled correctly, however there will come a time when you will need to change the globe - it is a very easy process.

How do I install my light into the stand?

Please see the video below

Will your glass pendant lights work outside of Australia?

Yes.

When your glass pendant light is ordered with a stand, we provide you will a fully adaptable plug that can be used in any country.

If the light is purchased without a stand (which means it is being installed by an licenced electrician), you will need to ask your electrician to use the correct transformer to suit your country*.  We will provide a chrome fitting to cover the transformer.

* If you are in Australia, we will provide you with an Australian transformer.  If you are outside of Australia, when your electrician comes to install your light, please ask them to bring a compatible transformer.  This is generally an inexpensive part.

Do your pendant lights work on a dimmer switch?

Yes.  When your light is installed, talk about this with your electrician.

Can I have an LED globe?

Yes, we have been testing numerous globes and have found an excellent option. Please contact us at the time of order.

Do you offer a design service?

Yes.  Asaf is able to sit down with you and the plans to your new home or renovation and assist you in choosing the perfect geometric ceiling light for your space.  This can be done face-to-face or over Skype.  Please contact us to make an appointment.

Do you take commissions for hanging pendant lights?

Yes we do.  If there is something you would like, but can't see it on the website, we would be more than happy to make something especially for you.

How do I care for my glass sculpture or light?

  • We recommend the use of a soft cloth  If it is really dirty, you can dampen the cloth a little. Do not use excessive water or chemicals.
  • We recommend you don't spin the light or sculpture as this can causes fraying of the cable.
  • It is important not to touch the halogen globe, it can be easily damaged by any oils on your hands, causing it to not work.
  • In addition, please do not pull on the cabling to slide out the inner tube to change the light bulb, this can cause the wire to break and malfunction.

How do I choose the correct stand size?

We are currently changing our stands.  Please contact us.

Can I suspend my glass artwork outside?

Undercover is fine, many customers do that.  But we do recommend to keep your sculpture under-cover and out of the rain to ensure longevity.

Are there any other finishes available?

Yes, we can finish your glass pendant light or sculpture with a copper or a black pantina.  There is an additional cost. Please contact us to discuss.

Where is the Studio and Gallery located?

We are located in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales in Australia.  We no longer have a retail gallery space, however we are available on the phone and via email and can set up Zoom meetings to take you through our range.  We apologise that at this stage we are not set up for visitors.  Please get in touch though as we would love to take you through our range.

Do you do lay-by?

Yes. We are more than happy for you to pay off your sculpture over time at no extra cost.  Please note that once the item is paid off, the 16 week waiting list then applies.  At this stage, due to volume, we do need to prioritise orders that are fully paid. Please contact us to discuss.
